I knew Jamie from FFA at Atwater High, although
2 years older than me she was always friendly and even helped me on a project for class. I will always have fond memories of her. My condolences to the family .

I never thought I would be writing this tribute to Jamie. The last time I spoke with her she was her usual spirited self, having beaten down her illness full of ideas and lots of energy. My heart skipped several beats when unexpectedly I read of her passing, it took me awhile to even imagine the loss that her family felt and is feeling not alone my sadness. I am happy to have been a brief part of her world and will miss her dearly. Larry Warren

I was fortunate enough to have a very close relationship with Jamie and was called “the other daughter” and treated as one of her own. Jamie was ALWAYS “Grandma Jamie” to my oldest, Jayla, and was so in love with our youngest, Kayge, who unfortunately was only able to “meet” her via FaceTime calls.
Our family is heartbroken, and I PROMISE to never let my children forget you, “momma”. We love you so much.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Ron, Kristen, Richelle, Rod, Diane and their respective families as these were the ones who contended in the day to day as Jamie gallantly fought the good fight with courageous tenacity against this disease; only to spend her days living, laughing, and enjoying every moment of being with you all, as well as all those she loved and cared about, savoring every moment.
I am grateful the family is choosing to celebrate Jamie’s life, and the significance of that life to all that will be in attendance as she was loved by many and this will be a real tribute that honors her. While sorrow and grief are present, and there are tears yet to be shed in this grieving process, honoring Jamie and celebrating her life as a whole and gathering family and friends alike will give voice to that pain in the context of joyful celebration for the cherished memories, love, and impact Jamie had on all those who entered her sphere of influence.
Jamie had an infectious laugh, was caring, and served anyone who needed a helping-hand. She loved her family fiercely and was incredibly proud of her daughters, who brought her the greatest joy to her. The lavish love of her daughters, husband, and those she loved most could fuel the world for ions to come; so it is with energy and love we celebrate with a depth of gratitude and joy for having had the opportunity to journey in life with Jamie.
There is a poem that say, “Sometimes people come into your life and stay awhile, and then they go, and sometimes people come into your life and leave footprints on your heart.” I’m confident Jamie has left many, many footprints on oeople’s hearts and in their lives; she will forever be missed until that time we are reunited in heave where there is no more sorrow, pain, tears, or disease. Yes, she is god for now but we will meet again, and until then Jamie has become a Guardian Angel on assignment.
My deepest love to all of the family. Kristen what a wonderfully written tribute to your mother.
