I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29. There Jesus promised a resurrection of our loved ones, saying that the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. These resurrected ones will inherit the earth, as Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 5. Then, under the rule of God’s Kingdom, they will enjoy life the way God originally intended, in perfect health with no sorrow, pain or death. (Psalms 37:29. Isaiah 33:24. Revelation 21:4) What a wonderful time that will be! If you would like to learn more about this hope, please visit jw.org. Please accept my condolences.

Max was kindhearted and compassionate. He was always making everybody laugh. He’d always invite me and my brother to hang out and ride bikes and get pizza. There was this one time I remember how we would always play wii sports for hours at a time. I’d wish we were able to hang out more. You are a great friend and a treasure to be around. You had an important place in our lives and you’ll still be forever in our hearts. We all miss you

We met Max at La Petite where the boys went to preschool, then Madera Elementry where they sometimes were class mates. We got to know Max and his family thru play dates, which included video games, pizza, family fun nights like the harvest festivals and Halloween nights which included checking out the candy afterwards and trading some for better candy. I always enjoyed max calling to speak to the boys, as he always was so polite and soft spoken it would always make me smile. Max, you were a great kid and forever touched our lives and I thank you for that. We will miss you, but will keep you in our hearts always. Love
Carrie (Tyler and Nick Severson’s mom)

Max was such a kind , caring person. He would always want to hang out with my brother and I. We always had fun when we hung out playing video games and munching on snacks. I remember when we both started riding our penny boards and would show each other what new things we learned the next time we saw each other. Wrestling with him was fun because he had a bunch of cheap moves and would end up winning most of the time. His light laughter was always contagious to me. I’ll miss you Max and you’ll forever be in our hearts.

I have had so many great memories with Max. We would play video games online together, and he would always kick butt. We would always try to do better than the other. I know Max is happy now, he doesn't have the oxygen tank to carry around, and he's enjoying his crazy bread and cactus cooler. We will certainly miss you, but you will always be with us in our hearts.

Max was one of the best friends I've ever had. He never complained and always stayed strong. One of my favorite memories with Max was going to his house and playing videogames with him and eating snacks. We would laugh and argue about who amongst us was the best gamer. At the end of the day, he'd always win. But most of all, I cared about him, I know that he is in a better place now where he is free. He touched my life in a way where no one else has nor ever will. Thank you Max, I will miss you.

My Favorite memories of our dear MAX
I was with him for the day, he asked me to bring GATORADE.
I could not open the lid. He asked again for it. I told him “ Max I am having technical difficulties opening the GATORADE.
I am cutting this darn lid as we speak.
Minutes later Max said “ ANYTIME YOU MANAGE TO OPEN THE BOTTLE, GO AHEAD AND BRING IT. “”
I laughed so much it took even longer to open the bottle.
When our family joined him at Disneyland , Elissa and Shellie were taking turns pushing the wheelchair.
They were doing all kinds of FANCY TRICKS WITH THE WHEELS. SHARP TURNS, LIFTING FRONT WHEELS ETC.
At one point I told the girls. My turn.
I pushed the wheelchair THE PROPER SLOW WAY.
Within 3 or so minutes, Max looked back, snapped his fingers and said: CAN SOMEONE ELSE PUSH MY WHEELCHAIR?
SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. TOO SLOW.
I LOVED HIS SENSE OF HUMOR !!!!!
On Christmas Eve we went to visit. He was tired.
When leaving I went to him again and as usual kissed his head and said I LOVE YOU MAX.
He stayed quiet and I thought he was distracted with his game. As I started to walk away he said LOUD.
“ I LOVE YOU TOO “
Max last words to me were OF LOVE , KINDNESS , BLESSINGS.
WE MISS YOU ALREADY.
WITH MUCH LOVE.
TO MAX , PAUL , DEBBIE , MICHAEL

Dear Max-
I recently saw a photo where you were decorating cookies that your Mom made. Know that you are so loved and that your parents are so blessed to have had you all these years. Your mom is amazing and I am so glad she shared great moments she had with you recently and I know your heart will always be with your parents and family that knew you.

We will miss Max very much. He was a gentle soul and loved by so many. I remember how he followed Christina around like a doting big brother at Grandma's 90th birthday party. I also remember going to Don Cucos Mexican restaurant and seeing how excited the waiters were to see "Maxito." It was too short of a time for him-we are heartbroken.

Max was such an amazing boy. Seeing him at school always made everyone happy. I could always look forward to talking with him. Playing video games with him was always a blast. I’m just so sad to see him go, I wish I would have played more often with him in the past few months. When he was at school I could always count on him to cheer me up, and I really hope I did the same for him. I wish the Kanne family my deepest condolences and I’m so so sad to see him leave us.
