Joan was one of the early female entrepreneurs for 27 years as a business owner of The East Snack Bar at Bramar Country Club in Southern California.

She enjoyed Tole Painting, Crafting, Gardening, and collecting Coca-Cola Memorabilia. Her most enjoyable and memorable moments were spent with her husband, Don of 35years and with, her family and adorable Dachshunds. Barack and Lucy.  Some of that quality time was spent camping on the beach with family during vacations and holiday celebrations.  She loved having lots of family and close friends around to enjoy birthdays and all the holiday seasons, including Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and especially Christmas.  Her home in Simi Valley would be decorated inside and out with all her special touches and seasonally hand painted decorations that will live on in memory along with all the photos and special times in each one’s heart.
