Ciocia Fina was one of those adopted aunts, actually a dear friend of my parents who emigrated to the US at the same time. Even though we weren't related, we all called her Ciocia which is Polish for aunt. Of all of my parents' friends whom we called aunts and uncles, she seemed distinguished from the rest in her poise and demeanor. She and her husband, Jeff were such good friends of my parents that she was my sister's godmother. She will be missed.
