Denise Suzanne Becker, 60 years old, lost her battle with cancer on May 20th, 2020 in Simi Valley, California. No Funeral service will be held at this time. A private, intimate, family celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
Denise was born in Inglewood, California to Joyce Sage and Roy Whipp on April 29th, 1960. She went to high school at West Torrance High in Torrance, California and graduated in 1978. Denise worked for many years as a Para-Educator for The Simi Valley School District, assisting with special needs children. She enjoyed shopping, gathering with her friends and helping with special needs children every chance she got.
Denise is survived by her husband, Bruce Becker of Simi Valley, her daughter, Emily Becker of Long Beach, California, her son Elliot Becker of Simi Valley, California, her mother, Joyce Sage, her sister Debra Garzon and her family Chris, Nicholas and Douglas Garzon, along with her father, Roy T. Whipp.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kaiser Permanente Hospice of Woodland Hills, the entire staff at Sunrise Guest Home in Simi Valley, California along with Pacific Home Care for the exceptional care they provided to Denise during the course of her illness.
