With much sympathy to the whole family. Aunty Jean will be missed terribly.
I remember Aunty Jean as a funny, witty lady. She was full of stories. She had an amazing memory!
My more recent memories are of her, were our visit in Smith's Falls Ontario in 2015 and Gail's wedding in 2019 .
I loved hearing her stories, and her remarks. She was lively, spunky and so full of information. She was an incredible woman. I wish she could have lived closer to me when I was growing up and into my adulthood.
R.I.P Aunty Jean
Love and hugs,

Jean Vivian Davison,
On a typical early morning when I would visit her at home… “What number is that?”, Jean would say. I would drink coffee while she was having a cup of tea. I had to have four cups of coffee, to her one cup of tea. The voice would come from out of nowhere (she’s been sleeping downstairs lately) and you must be quiet, so you don’t wake her! She had a wonderful sense of humor; told me a lot of stories (a lot). Her father was a tech sergeant with the 605 Squadron of the RAF during WWII, so we talked a lot about planes (I mean a lot). She even shared some of her feelings with me (I’d rather keep to myself). What a joy it is to have known this woman… until we meet again. I love you as if you were my own mother, let alone my mother-in-law. I was more than a little nervous about becoming a part of your family at first. Thank you for welcoming me into the family in such an accepting and loving way. It meant a lot that you really wanted to get to know me and took a genuine interest in how I was fitting in. I love you and am thankful for all your kindness. Thank you for being who you are.
