ERNIE was our long time neighbor in Elizondo St. in the mid-1970s till maybe late 1980s. My parents hired him to do a major cement job in the backyard in the 80s. Everytime I walk in the backyard , me and my mom remembers Ernie . We also remember Mike, Mario and their mom. My mother sometimes drive their mom Carmela to supermarkets. I remember Ernie came out early in the morning with a beer bottle in his hand already ,lol. Also, Mario and Ernie sometimes have a major/loud arguments in front ,cuzzing at each other, slamming the door. I hope they reconciled.
He also drives a trans-Am firebird while I also drive an orange hotrod Plymouth Duster in early 1980s that I park in our driveway. True, he went fishing with his brothers and sometimes gives my mom some fishes they had caught. We'll missed him.
