Obituary of David Spencer Walter

David Spencer Walter(Dave)76 yrs old, of Newhall, California. I am sorry to say the Lord took him home, on October 5, 2021. Dave was born in Ipswich, England , to mother Joan Spencer Walter, father Carroll Martin and adopted father William Walter, on August 26, 1945.

He graduated from Hart High School in Santa Clarita in 1964.  He loved traveling and going to see his grandkids play ball , and race cars. Just seeing them made him happy.

In his younger days he worked at the Solemint Store (Sierra Highway and Soledad), in his high school years. He went into the Navy during the Vietnam War and was discharge in 1968. He then worked at Bermite Powder Co. He made a  decision to get his journeymanship in tile and started his own tile installation business. He loved his church, family, friends. Working with his hands was a joy and loved gardening. He was a man of many talents. And dear to him was his dogs he loved them so much. He loved life and being out to sea, we went on many cruises. “And at sea is where his ashes will be.”

Dave is survived by his wife Carol Walter. His son David (Reyna)Walter, by his former wife Sandy. His brother Stephen Walter and his nephews Garrett and Kent Walter. His cousin Jim Shuwbert His Grandchildren:Brett (Kelsy) Urie, and Emerson and Becket. Briana(Laura) Wendell, and Graham Thomas Poncho (Francisco) Alex Lyman Ashley Farrell, (Michael) and Haylee Peter Farrell Step daughters Julie Smith (David), Jamie and Julian, Jenn De Atley(Brenden),  JJ and Jameson. Rick Lyman (son-in-law)

The Memorial Service will be at our church, Acton Faith Bible Church 32643 Gem Way,  Acton, Calif. 93510 on November 13, 2021  At 3:00pm A reception following the service in Abel Hall.

Instead of flowers , plants will be appreciated and will live on in his memory or donate to Support, Wounded Warriors Project. org in his honor.
