Remembering the day this picture was taken 1990. The day I officially became a member of this family. Jill was an inspiration to me. An example of class and taste. She welcomed me into the family and loved me like a daughter. She loved her Grand Daughters and was always current with what they had going on. Showing them love and support and a shoulder to cry on. 32 years of memories. So many holiday dinners at her table laughing and telling jokes. Wearing paper crowns at Christmas in true English tradition. Something I had never heard of until I sat at the Myers dinner table Christmas day 1988. Jill loved to have the family at Christmas dinner making all the fixings herself. Christmas decorations adorned the house she loved to decorate for the holiday and her house was so festive. Our girls will always remember her beautiful Christmas trees. The holidays will never be the same. We will keep traditions going in her memory. Missing you this Christmas and always.

My deepest condolences to Brian, Jeff and family. I met Jill at Macy Topanga. . Jill was the kindness person in the bridal
Department . Jill and I became friends and the friendship grew. In 2013 I left Macys and Jill threw me a farewell party at her home. I cherish our friendship, we kept in touch after I moved to Florida . Jill , I miss you so much, sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye. Your will always be in my heart. Brian, Jeff and family, may you find comfort in prayers. Our beautiful angel Jill is watching over us. Love ❤️ Always !!

I started working as a holiday associate for Macy’s in 2001. Jill trained me. I couldn’t go through the normal computer training that day because of technical issues so Jill trained me one on one that day and was my mentor then after. She was incredibly sweet and patient. The next year she invited me into her home for a Christmas party. Jill was a wonderful woman who had a big heart and was kind to everyone she met.

I remember always being warmly welcomed into the Myers' home, both the old place and Strathern St. Jill always looked me in the eye and smiled, and wanted to know how I was doing. She was a beautifully warm person. And she usually had a wry twinkle in her eye... it wasn't hard to find things to laugh about with her.

Brian, Jeff and family my husband Wayne and I send you our sincere condolences.
I've known your mom for 34 years, it surprises me to realize I won't havre the opportunity to share a luncheon, chat with her or hear her wonderful laugh. Thank you for sharing her with us, we're better for having known her. ❤

In June of 1966 was the first time I personally met Jill along with her two small sons Jeff and Brian. From the first meeting to now, she has remained a gracious and loving friend. She was always accommodating. In her own way she helped change my life forever. Her hospitality, regardless of the circumstances, helped me transition from the small city of Wheeling, WV (the home pof also Lenny and Don) to the mega-scape of Los Angeles, CA. I shall always be indebted to her. May she rest in peace.

My amazing Aunt Jill, Aunty Mum
I knew this day would come but no one is ever ready to say the final goodbye. I will miss our uncontrollable, infectious giggles and reminiscing of the past. You were so much fun and enriched lives of everyone you met.
You fought courageously to the very end and I pray that you are at peace now, pain free.
You’ve left behind a truly amazing family. I’m sure you will look down on all of us with so much pride and love.
Forever in my heart, all my love. Your niece Sarah x x

I have fond memories of Aunt Jill. She welcomed me with open arms, made me laugh and made me cry. One thing is true about this lady is that she was caring and loved those who were in her life. She was also pationate about the things that would effect her family whence she was gone. One thing I do know from our chats over the years was that she was happy with her life and wanted everyone to be happy with theirs.
Gone but but forgotten
She is Gone
By David Harkins
You can shed tears
that she is gone.
Or you can smile because she lived.
You can close your eyes and
pray that she will come back.
Or you can open your eyes and
see all that she has left.
Your heart can be empty because
you can’t see her.
Or you can be full of the love
that she shared,
You can turn your back on
tomorrow and live for yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow
because of yesterday.
You can remember her and
only that she is gone.
Or you can cherish her
memory and let it live on,
You can cry, close your mind,
be empty, and turn your back.
Or you can do what she would
have wanted, smile, open your
eyes, love and move on.
Aunt Jill xxx

Jill was one of the best friends you could ever have, I loved spending time with her in England. She will be missed by so many people, especially me. I’m so glad I was able to have a nice visit with her just a few weeks ago. Our condolences to both Brian and Jeff and his family.
Hugs,
Rosemary and Bob
