Our Angel on earth, Linda Marie Ford, of Simi Valley, Ca., passed away
on March 13, 2022, in Simi Valley, Ca. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Antioch Church on March 26, 2022, at 10:00
am with a reception to follow at the same location. Pastor John of Antioch Church will be officiating. Rose's Family will be handling the funeral arrangements. Linda was born in Minnesota to Alexander and ReNell Moir on December 4, 1947. She went to high school at Clairmont High School in San Diego, Ca. and graduated in 1965. She met her husband, Thomas Lonsey Ford, in 1967 in Washington D.C. They were brought together through the grace and good fortune of Linda’s friend, Bonnie Nocar. Linda was working as a dental assistant at the time they met. A whirlwind 6-month courtship culminated in their exchanging of vows on September 8, 1968. After their wedding, job-related relocations found them in Houston, TX., where they gave birth to Lonnie in 1969 and ReNell in 1970. Another series of moves found them in upstate New York where their third child, Brandon, was born in 1976. In 1979 the family made their big move to Clairmont, CA. where they lived for two years before finally settling in Simi Valley, CA. Where Tom and Linda spent the remaining years of their lives. Linda was a strong, caring, and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a generous heart of gold and a witty sense of humor. She was very active in PTA when her kids were in school. She was an avid reader, a magician in the kitchen, a loyal friend, and a selfless volunteer. She lived a humble, honest, God-loving life deeply rooted in faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ as a member of Antioch Church. She loved camping, country music, dancing, caring for her family, and celebrating good times with friends. Linda is survived by the eldest son, Lonsey Ford of Spanish Springs, NV., daughter-in-law Christy, grandchildren Alex and RaeLynn, and great-grandson Theo. Daughter ReNell Holmquist and son-in-law Allen of Simi Valley, CA, and granddaughter, Anna Ford of Asheville, N.C. Youngest son Brandon Ford of Newark, OH, and granddaughters Samantha, Alexis and Isabella. She is also survived by sisters Mary Ann Miller and ReNell Staab, nieces Karen Chastain and Marie Lindeen, and nephews John Miller, and Christopher and Michael Stewart. She is preceded in death by husband Thomas Ford, sister-in-law Jerri Stewart, and parents
Alexander and ReNell Moir. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Linda to Antioch Church and the Simi
Valley Samaritan Center.
