Obituary of Herminio Manansala Usi
Hermie as he was called by family and friends was born on April 17, 1952 in Pampanga, Philippines. He was the 11th child of 12 children. He graduated from the University of the East with a degree in accountancy. He worked as an accountant for many years in the Philippines and here in the U.S.
Hermie passed on the morning of March 6, 2022.
He was blessed with a loving family. He was married to Hanalee and was blessed with four children. Hermie came here in the U.S. in 1987 and settled here with his family until his passing.
He was an avid fan of sports. He enjoyed watching basketball, but most especially loved horse racing. He was a man of few words, easily amused by the simple things in life, and loved deeply through his actions. He was kind and generous at heart. He was always willing to give his very last to help out everyone who is in need. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Hanalee, his daughters Joana, Michelle, and Jennifer, his son Herminio Jr; his grandchildren Lucas, Noah, and Bella; his sister Evelyn, his brothers Jose, Sergio, and Nico.
There will be a service for those who would like to say their last goodbyes to Hermie on April 8, 2022. The viewing will be at 9:30AM and mass to follow at 11:30AM at Rose Family Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery 1380 Fitzgerald Rd., Simi Valley, CA 93065 at 1:00PM.
