Obituary of Albert Darakjian
Please share a memory of Albert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Albert H. Darakjian left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 21. He was 89 years of age. After retiring from teaching, Albert turned his attention to composing music. He leaves us a legacy of music, which has its roots in the Armenian spirit. He composed both sacred and secular music, and always gave credit to the Lord for guiding him in his efforts. His desire was that God be glorified by his music. Over the years, his compositions were performed by the Glendale Symphony, Garden Grove Symphony, and Sierra Philharmonic Symphony. Albert is survived by his dear loving wife, Annabelle Lee. They were married for 58 years.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 30, 10:45 a.m., at St. Peter Armenian Church, in Van Nuys.
