Obituary of Stacey Lynn Hopkins

Stacey Lynn Hopkins (Antes), age 65, died of Cancer on November 6th, 2022, at her residence in Simi Valley.

Stacey is survived by, her Husband of 40 years, Rick; her children Lisa, Jason, and Michael, And her Grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Hevan, Bradley, Brittany, Makenzie, and Emily.  Also, three brothers Rick, Rob and Keith.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Milly, her Father Eddie, both of San Jose,
Stacey was born in mid-July, 1957, in San Jose, She graduated from Oak Grove High School.

In 1978, she moved to Tarzana and in 1979 accepted a position as a receptionist at Metalcrafters, a precision sheet metal fabricator, where she worked for more than 24 years, becoming office manager.
She was a great family woman and a loving stepmother. She married Rick in 1980 and although the couple had no children together, she loved Rick’s children as her own.  Stacey was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in artistic endeavors for the majority of her life. She enjoyed painting, pottery, cooking, and especially card making. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, loving person.

A funeral is scheduled for Stacey on February 11th, at 1:00 with a reception to follow at Rose Family Funeral Home, Simi Valley.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stacey’s life. The family would like to thank everyone in attendance for caring about this lovely woman.
