Obituary of Randall Coppedge
Please share a memory of Randall to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dearly loved husband and father of four, Randy Coppedge, of Simi Valley passed away October 24th at 60 years of age. Randy was born to Alton (Tex) and Jackie Coppedge January 13, 1953 in Van Nuys, CA. The middle child of three boys, each one year apart, he grew up with two built in best friends and co-conspirators. Upon graduating Royal High School in 1971, he started work full time at his father's company, Trendex, which began a 30 year long career in construction.
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he thoroughly enjoyed teaching people the Bible truths that he learned and lived his life by. He also enjoyed loud music, going to the movies and cruising in his Cadillacs. He had a very large collection of Jimi Hendrix shirts which he wore every day.
Randy was a loving husband, devoted father, adoring Papa, and acted as a father for those without. He will be remembered for his humor, his generosity, and his resilient and sometimes rebellious spirit. He will be greatly missed by so many.
Randy is survived by his wife of 24 years, Pam, his son, Bryan (Maria), his daughters, Lelah (Tom), Danielle, and Candice, nephew, Kade and seven grandchildren, Liam, Aidan, Scarlett, Ila, Genevieve, Ronan, and Jack Randall. His Parents, Tex and Jackie Coppedge. His brothers Darrell (Judy) and Kim (Debbie).
Please join us in the commemoration of his life at 2 pm, on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at Tuscan Villa, 1248 Rocky Rd (off Santa Susana Pass Rd.) in Simi Valley, CA. Parking is limited, please make arrangements to carpool.
