“I have so much memories with CLEO, call her grandma. Being with her as a stay-in caregiver for almost 9 yrs, is one of my favorite memories in my whole life. She’s one of a kind. She’s one of the kindest and sweetest person I’ve ever met. She possessed a great sense of humor and she would always make us smile with her punchlines. She treated us her caregivers with so much respect and in turn we respected and loved her as our own. That for sure we will missed about her. Cleo will be in our hearts. Her life was a blessing, her memory our special bond a treasure. In behalf of all your caregivers Maya, Fey, Esthel, Medeline and me Tess, we would like to say thank You Cleo for your love. We love you the most grandma. Goodbye.”

Cleo was always kind, considerate, and humerous. I remember being stung by a bee when I was maybe 8 years old and she treated the sting by rubbing honey on my finger -- and the pain went away. After my own mother has passed, Cleo soothed my loss by telling me, I am your mother now.

As I reflect on my cherished childhood memories of the time I spent with my Grandma, I am filled with warmth and gratitude. She had a special way of making ordinary moments extraordinary, like sharing a half stick of gum, guiding me through miniature golf adventures, or filling her home with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Her simple gestures of love, like our trips to McDonald’s for a happy meal or our pottery class escapades, were woven into the fabric of my childhood, leaving an indelible mark on my heart. And as she watched All My Children in the afternoons while she lovingly scratched my back, I saw her true love for me as her favorite Grandson. Though she may no longer be with us physically, her spirit lives on in these cherished memories of mine, reminding me of the enduring power of my Grandmother’s love.

We will miss you more than words can express. You were the personification of kindness and love ! As a mother and grandmother, you were simply the best - there could never be anyone quite like you. Thank you for showering us with your love every single day. Even though we had you for 100 years, it still feels like it wasn't enough. But we are endlessly grateful for every precious minute we had with you on this earth.
