Jane shared her love of teaching with me and told stories of her at St Rose of Lima School. She had the Meichtry family over for volleyball and food in the backyard. It was so much fun. Jane always welcomed us and was so kind.

I loved spending the night at grandma and grandpa's house. Grandma would make french toast and banana wheels and cheese for me. I remember her reading Babar and Curious George to me and we would do puzzles together. As I got older we would play scrabble all the time and I remember her sharing her love of birds with me.

Some of my favorite memories with Grandma Jane are having sleepovers at her house, her coming to watch me Irish dance, going to church with her, playing scrabble, her coming along to drop me off at Sacred Heart camp and going on adventures around town like Hometown Buffet or to feed the ducks with Grandpa. I love you and I'll miss you so much.

I remember the huge smile on Jane’s face as she walked down the aisle of Kendra and Ben’s wedding.
