Oh my goodness, there is so much to share about this beautiful heart. I had the pleasure of spending some very special time with Patty. Unfortunately, it was at the hospital at her bedside. Nevertheless, we had some wonderful conversations, with laughter and some tears. When Patty would speak about the cancer she was fighting, she was always optimistic and very determined to get well. Nevertheless once did she say, I can’t. She would say …”you bet I am going to get well and out of here.” She wasn’t shy about using some curse words either, lol. She had the best spirit! Patty was funny and cheerful the couple times we visited, but she was also in so much pain. She enjoyed the brief visits from my dog Maverick. She took some pictures of their cuddles together. She was an animal lover , and it showed. Most our conversations were about her love for her family, that’s when a year or two would come out. She said how much she loved her babaies, her grandchildren. She would light up when talking about her kiddos, but would melt when talking about her Thor. Patty said, “ that’s my heart, he is my baby.” Patty expressed to me how proud she was of her daughter Becky, and wouldn’t know what to do without her. She told me that she loved her with everything she had. She told me all the days and nights she spent next to her in the hospital, bringing her food, trying to make her mama comfortable, making sure she received the best care possible. Patty was always expressing the immense love she had for her family, and she was going back home to be with them. I am happy to know, she did just that. I am grateful to have had a chance to know a huge piece of her heart. We are so sorry she is no longer here with you all, but her love and spirit lives in your hearts forever. One day at a time my friends. God bless,
The Porhola Family. Love you guys!!!
