This is 2021. I will always love this man for looking after me as a teen and beyond. School, a roof over my head, Sunday dinner at his house... so much more. All he wanted is to see his kids do well and get the education they could handle. I was part of his family for a short time and he looked after me as if I was his own. He made me feel like I was one of his own. Kindness. That's what I will always remember... Oh, and the spaghetti he made with instant coffee in the sauce (gravy, whatever). It was bad, really bad! Love you Ray! I still might try again PomPom's spaghetti, olive oil and tuna recipe one day if I'm feeling bold. So many lovely memories. Thank you!

I am researching my husbands family history. His Uncle Joe Cellucci mentioned Ray Bucci and Osvaldo Bucci. He said one was a predictor of elections ( Raymous) and that was a doctor and one a lawyer. I believe they were his cousins and the parents helped one another when the family immigrated to Philadelphia. Marks father was Leslie Weidel and mother Gilda Cellucci. All have passed. Mark is an only child. I also see a Paul Bucci in Philadelphia as a lawyer- he must be a son of one of them. Uncle Joe believed his great grandfather may have gone to Brazil and stayed in San Paolo, with the mother not wanting to move from Italy with the kids. Uncle joe was old and i may have the stories confused between the families. There was mention of a D'Arcusio name i think was the mothers maiden name. Does any of this sound familiar to you? Are you related? If so can we connect? One of these families came from Castel D'Frantano area of Italy, on the Adreatic sea. There was also a cousin in Vestal New York, and a cousin in the Rochester New York area.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the entire Bucci family, especially Christopher Bucci. Chris was my TA last semester at Royal High School in the student store. I know that he looked up to his dad and expressed his admiration to me on several occasions. I was saddened to hear Dr. Bucci's name announced at mass last week and immediately thought of Chris. I understand there are no words that will elveate the pain of losing a loved one, but one thought to keep in mind is your father is no longer suffereing, he is in the presence of our Lord. It is we, the ones left behind, who suffer the pain of loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless all of you and may Raymond rest in peace. Sincerely, Terry McDermott
