I had many special memories of Mrs Steele who was always so kind, gentle and generous. She always had a good word to say about everyone and really lived the Gospel Message. She saw the face of Jesus in people of all walks of life and really reached out to help those in need especially children with special needs. God has a special place for Mrs Steele in his House which has many rooms. Love You, Mrs Steele

As one of Ann's dog park friends she was a joy to meet up with. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word on her lips. She is greatly missed.

To Ann's Family,
I'm so saddened by this news. I met Ann at Multnomah and we hit it off right away. I loved her sense of humor.
I too was a special ed teacher. She had a great relationship with her students. We also had fun going to the health spa in Palm Springs and Ojai for our annual get away. In fact we were in Palm Springs during the Northridge earthquake which of course was a real concern for Ann, wondering if her house was okay.
I also remember a great day we had going to Santa Barbara on the train. It took us almost 8 hours to get home because the train kept pulling over for freight trains. And we were at school bright and early the next morning. Ann always got to school early.
I didn't get to see her very often after we both retired but our friend Connie Wright would keep me posted.
I know her family was everything to her and she spoke very highly of all of you.
Sincerely,
Kerry Castel De Oro
