Obituary of Marc Angelo Tody

Marc Angelo Tody, of Chatsworth, California passed away on November 11, 2014 in West Hills Hospital, at the age of 54. The celebration of Marc’s life will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home at Simi Valley, California on November 22, 2014 at 2:00PM - 3:00PM. Pastor Samuel Quema of One Family @ Rivermark, will be officiating the Memorial Service, and a reception will follow at the same venue. Inurnment will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Chatsworth California, to be witnessed by his immediate family. Marc was born in Santa Monica, California to Richard Wayne Tody and Lillian Ella Tody on July 12, 1960. He attended El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, California and earned his Electrical Certificate at Pierce College also in Woodland Hills. He had thirty years experience in the field of industrial electrical distribution and sales, and worked as a Branch Manager for Davis Wholesale Electric for the past ten years. Keeping fit, playing golf, body surfing, enjoying nature, and musical theater were some of Marc’s greatest passions. He had a benevolent heart, and most of all, Marc was a man with devoted faith in God. Marc is survived by his family: Aladdin, Richard "Dick”, Patricia, Anthony "Bud", Diane, Sydney and Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lillian Tody. During Marc's last days he developed a deeper faith and closer relationship with God. He believed in these favorite quotations: John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 11:25-26 - Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." The family of Marc Tody would like to send their heartfelt gratitude to all who showed their support during their time of grief.
